Alex lives in the gaps.
As an interdisciplinary thinker and maker Alex is interested in the spaces in-between.
My work exists at the intersection of radical joy and embodied empathy. I approach public education as praxis, using both digital and physical spaces as intentional containers for exploring belonging, care, and collective imagination. Much of my practice unfolds through collaboration, where art becomes a site of radical connection, inviting participants to consider what creative citizenship can look like within the constraints and contradictions of late-stage capitalism. Working across forms, including online convenings, dance, facilitated learning environments, and participatory experiences, my practice resists singular outcomes in favor of shared inquiry. These works ask how we might move, learn, and create together in ways that cultivate relational accountability, mutual care, and joy as acts of resistance.
